Dr Elliot Blackmen

Eliott Blackman, DO, FCA

President

After graduating from New York State University at New Paltz,1966 with a major in Biology and a minor in art, Dr. Blackman attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. After graduating 1970, he completed his one year internship at the Osteopathic Hospital of Maine, in Portland, 1971.  He was then asked by the Kirksville College to be the Perrin T. Wilson Fellow. The Fellowship lasted two years. He has since been in private practice, in Columbus Ohio, Boulder Colorado, and San Francisco California, where he has been from 1976 to the present.

Dr. Hieu Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen is currently teaching at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA and doing OMM private part time practice.

Dr. Eric Dolgin

Eric J. Dolgin, DO, FCA

Treasurer

Dr. Dolgin graduated OU-COM in 1982 receiving the Osteopathic Heritage Award. After completing his Internship in Cleveland, he entered a fellowship program in pediatric Osteopathy in the Cranial Field at the Osteopathic Center for Children (OCC). He then opened a private practice in Santa Monica, CA, He has been the president of the OCA, Kids Brain Trust, Treasurer of PGIO, Treasurer of  the OCC, Board Member of the Osteopathic Promise to Children and is the current President of the Osteopathic Cranial Academy Foundation. He has run many Osteopathic Courses and has chaired and served on many committees in his professional organizations.

Dr Alex Frantzis

Alex Frantzis, DO

Dr. Alex is a physician board-certified in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and a professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.  He is passionate about sharing the benefits of Osteopathy and regularly lectures to both healthcare professionals and the public.

Prior to becoming a Doctor of Osteopathy, Dr. Alex also completed a formal education in acupuncture and has spent a lifetime studying holistic medicine alongside mind-body practices such as Tai Chi and Taoist meditation.

His areas of focus include regenerative medicine, integrative pain management, restoring neurologic function, and treatment of complex illnesses.

Dr. Robert Lee

R. Paul Lee, DO, FAAO, FCA, DABMA

Director at Large

Dr. Lee is presently retired from practicing Osteopathy in the cranial field, acupuncture, nutrition and homeopathy for 30+ years. He taught extensively with the Osteopathic Cranial Academy as director of introductory courses for several years and intermediate courses of various types for over two decades. His expertise is in assimilating traditional osteopathic philosophy and practice with modern physics and scientific thought. Dr. Jared Cruz

Dr. Jared Cruz, DO

Dr. Cruz has formal training in both Family Medicine and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal medicine.  With a passion for marketing osteopathic medicine to the public, he is currently a traveling physician and enjoys focusing his medical practice on integrative and regenerative medicine with a special interest in pain management.
Dr. Robert Lee

Dr. Julie Mai, DO

Dr. Mai is a graduate of UCSD and TUCOM (CA). She had trained with Dr. Viola Frymann at the Osteopathic Center for Children (OCC) and practices Traditional and Cranial Osteopathy with homeopathy in her two offices: Encinitas and Fountain Valley. She is the Medical Director / owner of her Center for Synergistic Healing. She is the second author to the JOM published Plagiocephaly Case Study with Dr. Hollis King. Dr. Mai is currently the President of OCC, President-Elect of OCA, and serves on the following Boards: Osteopathy’s Promise to Children (OPC), OCC, Osteopathic Cranial Academy (OCA), Foundations (OCAF), and PGIO. She also serves as a teaching faculty of OPC and OCA.
